“The sands of time cannot be stopped. Years pass whether we will them or not … but we can remember. What has been lost may yet live on in memories.”
The first book of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, Eragon tells the story of a farm boy named Eragon, who finds a mysterious stone in the mountains. The stone is revealed to be a dragon egg, and a dragon he later names Saphira hatches from it. When the evil King Galbatorix finds out about the egg, he sends monstrous servants to acquire it, making Eragon and Saphira flee from their hometown with a storyteller named Brom. Brom, an old member of an extinct group called the Dragon Riders, teaches Eragon about ‘The Ways of the Rider.’
Featuring a leatherbound and dragon hide rebinding of the 2003 edition of Eragon and with a majestic dragon eye on the cover and ridges of dragon spines on the surface, this leatherbound tome of Eragon is approximately 9.2 x 6.3 x 1.65″ inches and weighs 1.9 lbs, and makes a wonderful addition to any library or collection. Custom commissions are available, if one desire’s the complete Inheritance Cycle.
