“Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.”
Navigating the Material Realm in the world of Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra is no picnic. Each nation has its share of dangers and perils, from the vertigo-inducing heights of the Air Temples to the chilly lands of the Water Tribes at the polar regions, to the volcanic reaches of the Fire Nation, or the vast expanses of the Earth Empire. But wherever you go, you can count on making new friends along the way.
Known as the Mortal World, the Physical World, the Material World, or the Human Realm, the world of Avatar goes by many names. This map was cunningly laid down by cartographers in an effort to chart the lands that man can reach (as efforts to map out the Spirit Realm have proven unsuccessful, what with that pesky shifting landscape), and to assist the likes of adventurers and would-be avatars like Aang and Korra alike on their journeys. So if you’re lost in a swamp, headed to the Air Temple or the Northern Water tribes, or just want a map to brandish while cheekily screaming “I’m the Avatar, you gotta deal with it.”, this map of the Material Realm will help guide you on your way.
Aged on the back and perfect for a shadowbox, wall hanging, or just a general use prop replica for cosplay, this sturdy cloth map of the lands of the Avatar ATLA world measures approximately 11 x 17″ (bigger sizes are availably by request). Each scroll is aged by hand and sent on its way.
