Handgrown Bismuth Crystals – Unique Lab Grown Bismuth

Bismuth crystals (element 83 on the periodic table) are hailed across the world as an incredibly beautiful crystal grown out of molten metal. Each one is grown by hand in our laboratory workshop by hand. Bismuth naturally forms crystals in iridescent colors, making exceptionally exotic crystals with a unique display of color.

These bismuth crystals make a perfect paperweight, gift for rock hounds, or conversation piece for collectors. Each piece of bismuth is completely unique in size and shape, and measures approximately 2.5″ in diameter. The crystals (known as hopper crystals) occur when one side cools faster than the other, causing the crystals to make sharp turns when growing, creating the incredible geometries you see. Each crystal is 99.99% elementally pure, and can be used for jewelry-making or for very large projects. Smaller pieces available as well.
