“Now at long last I have returned to set things right. I… am Medivh, The Last Guardian.”
Retrieved by our tireless archivists, we present the last surviving spellbook of Medivh, the Last Guardian of Tirisfal. Inspired by Blizzard’s infamous World of WarCraft, the Book of Medivh will guard your devices across Azeroth, Draenor, and beyond.
Corrupted by the spirit of Sargeras, Medivh’s life was one of tragedy and betrayal. When his spirit was freed after death, he returned later as a Prophet to warn the denizens of Azeroth and Kalimdor of the coming of the Burning Legion. He often took the form of a black raven, the seal and sigil of Medivh. His spellbooks were said to be things of great power and the Book of Medivh is said to contain a great deal of lore on demons.
Following his death, the spell book of Medivh was kept in the Royal Library of New Stormwind. Ner’zhul store the book during that battles of the Second War and used its power to open portals all over Draenor. Combined with the other artifacts stolen – the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras, the Skull of Gul’dan, and the Eye of Dalaran, the vast energies of the opened portals ripped Draenor apart. Khadgar was given the book by the vengeful Obris, after being left for dead by his master, and he used it to close the Dark Portal on Draenor, sparing Azeroth from the wake of destruction plaguing Draenor. The Book of Medivh was sent back through the portal to be given to the Kirin Tor. The book was later stolen yet again by Arthas and Kel’Thuzad to summon the great demon Archimonde. It’s whereabouts were currently unknown until recently, when it was recovered from Kel’Thuzad’s artifacts by our archivists.
