This past Tuesday, Nick, Heidi, and I attended our first career fair at the Discovery Learning Center at University of Colorado at Boulder. The fair was being put on by the Computer Science Undergraduate Advisory Committee (CSUAC for short) and was a great opportunity for local companies big and small to meet and connect with the student body. We got to meet all kinds of enthusiastic young brainlings and enginerds, share some of our projects and ideas, and scout out potential recruits and interns for our summer programs. We had a great time talking with everyone and it was great practice for some of the conventions and fairs we’ll be doing in the future. It’s always fun to meet people who really resonate with our ideas and our work, and we had many engaged discussions with people who had ideas right off the bat on new projects, improvements, and new directions for us to go in. We collected dozens of resumes and had an overwhelming show of support and energy for the things we do. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

Recently recovered from an archaeological dig site, deep in the ruins of the legendary City of Pillars, this ancient leaf of parchment holds upon it the graven image of a monster of hideous proportions, the one spoken of in hushed whispers – Cthulhu.
